SHYC SOCIAL 

There is a very active social side to the yacht club, with several events every month catering for all tastes – live bands and discos and even a traditional pantomime and talks of local interest.

THEN BOOGIE ON DOWN TO THE CLUB at the weekend when we aim to have at least one live band or disco every month. There is also a superb social calendar of traditional yacht club events from the Fitting Out to Laying Up Suppers, Commodore’s Sail Past, Christmas Lunch, and New Year’s Eve party. Where else can you enjoy such a varied and lively social scene at the harbour?

And remember, most of these events are free of charge to club members. The social programme is published every week in our newsletter. Alternatively, just come and enjoy the company in our Bar & Galley. The yacht club welcomes families and dogs (please advise us if booking a table to eat).
